Fifth-Form Parents Weekend

Come to campus on Feb. 16 and 17 for this important and informative event during which you will learn all you need to know about your child's college process.

The formal part of the program features speakers from 7-9 p.m. on Friday and then again from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday. In addition, there are optional meals before and after the program, and opportunities for individual parent conferences with your child's college counselor (Kelly Richards,  Chrissy Cerenzia or Anthony Franco) on Friday and Saturday afternoons.

Once you state your preferences in your reply below, the College Counseling Office will contact you about the availability of specific times. Priority for appointments during that weekend will go to parents coming from a great distance; we will set up times outside of the weekend for parents who live within an hour of campus.

In preparation for the weekend, please fill out the "fifth-form parent survey" located in Naviance under the "about me" tab.  You will see it on the left-hand side of the screen.  This information will be enable us to best serve your family's needs as your child begins the college process.

(Username and passwords were sent out in November.  If you need to reset your Naviance account information, please contact Jenny Johnson in the College Counseling Office at or 401.842.6706.)

RSVP by Friday, Jan. 19

Do you plan to attend Fifth-Form Parents Weekend?

Please provide the names of any additional attendees.
You may plan to attend the buffet dinner in King Hall between 6-7 p.m. on Friday, or take your child out to dinner that evening.  Either option is fine by us — but our dining services need a sense of numbers.
What is the total number of people attending dinner in King Hall?
Our office manager, Jenny Johnson, will contact you about the availibility of specific times once you select your preferences below.
When would you prefer to meet with your student's counselor?
Please answer the following question: if there is one thing you would like to tell your child as he/she begins the process, what would it be? Your answer will be anonymous, but since we plan to cull them all together into one handout, please be brief. We look forward to hearing your answers!
