Weather delay: Classes will resume Friday
Because of the timing of the storm, all classes, practices, and programs for Thursday are now cancelled. The new deadline for boarding students’ return is 9 p.m. Thursday evening.
We do understand that some students will arrive on Wednesday – which is fine! All dormitories will be open beginning Wednesday afternoon, and the dining hall will be open for all meals beginning with Wednesday lunch.
Please contact Eileen Douglas in the Dean’s Office at (401) 842-6798 to discuss any travel issues. She will be available during office hours today, tomorrow, and Thursday. In addition, the Dean on Duty phone (401) 338-7013 is available 24/7 starting now.

Ray Woishek is a teacher in the art department, head varsity girls' soccer coach, advisor and dorm parent. Through drawing, printmaking and digital media, Woishek most enjoys helping students master the techniques and mindset that allow them to successfully incorporate the design process in and outside of the art classroom. His love of athletics, and particularly soccer, makes him a passionate and dedicated coach. Woishek has also served several years on school’s Honor Board. Woishek holds a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Connecticut College, where he was a four-year varsity hockey player, and a master’s degree in design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland.
