Holly Williams, St. George’s Independence Foundation Teaching Chair, has been a member of the science department since 1991 and teaches multiple levels of biology and DNA Science. Her husband, Warren, teaches mathematics at St. George’s and their children, Geoff ’06 and Taylor ’11, are St. George’s graduates. Williams, a dorm parent, is the head varsity softball coach and a JV swimming coach. As well she is the faculty advisor for the sustainability council and supervises the school’s greenhouse, the Rios Conservatory. Williams spends summers working for Camp Laurel in Maine and her free time is devoted to yoga, knitting and reading. Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology from S.U.N.Y College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a master’s degree in science education from Syracuse University.
