Our LEED Gold-certified Nathaniel P. Hill Memorial Library was renovated in 2011 and is a centerpiece in students’ academic lives — whether they’re using library resources, attending an information-literacy class with a librarian, meeting with classmates in a group-study room or visiting the Merck-Horton Center for Teaching & Learning.
The library houses 30,000 volumes, 1,500 reference titles and an audiovisual collection. We subscribe to numerous electronic databases including JSTOR, ProQuest Research Library and historical newspaper archives, as well as print newspapers and magazines. And as a member of the Ocean State Libraries consortium and Online Computer Library Center, the library provides SG community members with access to the collections of university and public libraries nationwide.
