Introducing Girls' Soccer Coach Meg Coffin
Meg Coffin

St. George's School welcomes Meg Coffin, who takes over as coach for the girls' soccer team.

"I am honored to be joining the St. George's community, and I can't wait for the season to begin," Coffin said.

Coffin comes to the Hilltop from Trinity Episcopal School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she was an English teacher and served as chair of the English department. Before that, Coffin worked as a teacher at Westtown School in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

A 2008 graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, Coffin played on the school's varsity soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams and was a tri-captain; two-time All-American in soccer and basketball.

Coffin was part of the 2005 NESCAC champion soccer team, a 1,000-point scorer for basketball, and was selected as the Bates Female Athlete of the Year in 2006.
