For the second straight year, SG students traveled to Addo, South Africa, over break for a 10-day trip to volunteer with the nonprofit Universal Promise at the Vusumzi School. The students used lesson plans they created to teach children from surrounding villages in grades K-7 everything from reading clocks to coding robots. For more details about our students' experiences, read the trip blog here. View a photo gallery of the trip here.
Meanwhile, students in the Global Studies class traveled to Morocco over break for a week of research to learn about the country's culture, political structures, development, tourism, and environmental concerns for their special projects. View a photo gallery of the trip here.
