Head Coach
Charlie Congleton arrived at St. George's School in 2021 after he served as the Head Coach of varsity lacrosse and taught math and coached football and hockey during his second stint at Eaglebrook from 2018 to 2021.
Charlie was a starter all four years at Groton School receiving All-ISL honors his senior year, captain of the football team and member of the hockey team. At Wesleyan University, Congleton was a three-year starting goaltender and led the Cardinals to the NESCAC tournament finals and to the program's first NCAA semifinal earning 1st Team All-NESCAC honors. As a captain senior year, Charlie again led the Cardinals to the NESCAC tournament finals and another NCAA semifinal with a record of 18-3. In 2007 he garnered 1st Team All-NESCAC and USILA DIII 3rd Team All-American selections. Charlie received Wesleyan's Carl R. Ahrens memorial award, presented to the top contributor to men's athletics at the college.
In 2008 and 2009, Charlie transitioned from player to coach and served as an assistant coach under John Tillman at Harvard University working with the defense and goalies. From 2010 to 2012, Charlie ventured to the Eaglebrook School and was the varsity coach where he developed multiple athletes into future high school and college lacrosse players. From 2013 to 2017, Charlie returned to Wesleyan University as an assistant coach under Head Coach John Raba, the NESCAC's winningest coach. Charlie was the recruiting coordinator for the program and responsible for coaching goaltenders and assisted in both the defense and offense teams. During his time at Wesleyan, Charlie had a hand in coaching 17 All-Americans and three DIII position players of the year. He helped guide the 2017 team to a program best 20-2 record, a NESCAC Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Semifinal. That season, the coaching staff at Wesleyan received the IMLCA Northeast Region Coaching Staff of the Year award and the team received the NILOA James "Ace" Adams Sportsmanship Award.

Dartmouth, Mass. native Cole Franklin started at St. George’s School during the spring of 2023 as an Assistant Coach. Prior to St. George’s, Cole served as an Assistant Coach at his alma mater, Curry College. Some of his roles at Curry included recruiting, offensive coordinator, and in-game substitutions.
Before coaching at Curry College, Cole coached hockey and lacrosse and was a faculty member at Cushing Academy for three years. In his first two years, he was Assistant Lacrosse Coach, and was promoted to Head Lacrosse Coach during his third year.
In the summers, Cole also works with Trilogy Lacrosse, 3D Lacrosse, Kings Lacrosse and has an experienced background in box lacrosse. -
AJ Karofsky is a Barrington, Rhode Island native and attended St. Andrews in Barrington RI, where he graduated from in 2014. He then went to play college lacrosse at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Sports Management. After college, AJ coached in Southern California in Huntington Beach for three years before he returned to Rhode Island. AJ is currently attending Adelphi University and pursuing a master's
degree in Sports Management. -
Nate Kellogg joined the Boys Lacrosse coaching staff in 2022. Nate has coached soccer and lacrosse programs throughout his career in education. He is a 2009 graduate of Bates College, where he captained the men's soccer and lacrosse teams. Nate lives on campus with his wife, Meg Coffin, who is a humanities teacher, Head Girls Soccer Coach, and Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. Off the field, Nate is a Partner at a national education non-profit.
