May 5, 2021 • E-news For Parents Only Appreciating our teachers St. George's has wonderful teachers and though they deserve it all the time, we're formally proclaiming our appreciation during this national Teacher Appreciation Week. "Thank you to each and every one of you for everything you do every day on behalf of our students," Head of School Alixe Callen wrote to the faculty and staff last night. "In this crazy year with all of its uncertainty and challenge, I'm especially grateful for your fine work." Elbow bumps all around! SG Day of Giving recap A big thank you to everyone who participated in last week's successful Day of Giving! Move out day is approaching Underformers depart campus on Friday, May 28, and the Class of 2021 will follow on Monday, May 31 — and dorm rooms must be emptied of all personal belongings. To help families manage their moves, the Student Life Office is considering providing an early "drive-by pickup" option on Saturday, May 22. If you're interested, please complete this form.
Meanwhile, if you're considering storing items for the summer, or shipping items home, we've partnered with Dorm Room Movers, who will be coming to campus on Wednesday, June 2, to pick up packed boxes and items of registered students.
