Girls’ Varsity Ice Hockey Coach Information

    Kim Tiberi is a biology teacher in the STEM Department, head coach for the varsity ice hockey and varsity softball teams as well as an advisor and a dorm parent. Prior to St. George's, Tiberi earned her bachelor's degree in health science with minors in biology and coaching from Norwich University. After four years of varsity ice hockey at Norwich, Tiberi followed her collegiate career by playing in the NWHL for the Connecticut Whale and also played in the PWHPA. She served as the assistant coach at Suffolk University for the inaugural season of the varsity women's hockey program. Following this, Tiberi worked at Tilton School as a teacher, coach, advisor and dorm parent.
  • Assistant Coach
    Sarah graduated from Providence College in 2000 and was a member USA Women’s National Team from 1997-2003 and in 1998 was on the USA Women’s Olympic Ice Hockey Gold Medal Team. In 2002 Sarah was named the USA Hockey Women’s Player of the Year before being inducted into the RI Heritage Hall of Fame in 2004. From 2004-07, Sara was the Nobles and Greenough Volunteer Goalie Coach and then continued on to be the Goal Coach at Harvard University from 2004-07. In 2018, Sara was inducted into RI Hockey Hall Of Fame and has been working running her own girls hockey organization since 2013.
