John Roeser teaches advanced economics and English and also coaches JV boys’ basketball and varsity baseball. Prior to his arrival at St. George’s, Roeser worked as a senior policy analyst at American International Group in New York’s financial district and as a private practice attorney for firms in New York and New Jersey. Roeser’s primary areas of legal practice included environmental, intellectual property, and banking law. Before law school, Roeser worked as a teacher at The Pingry School in New Jersey, teaching Advanced Placement economics and government as well as coaching soccer, basketball, and baseball. Roeser holds bachelor’s degrees, cum laude, from Duke University in English and history and a juris doctor degree and a master’s degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
