Xander Jones joined the St. George’s community in 2016 following eight years at Salisbury School in Connecticut. After three years on the Hilltop, Jones was named Dean of Students. Additionally, he teaches one section of U.S. history, serves as dorm head in Diman, and coaches in the afternoons. Prior to Salisbury, he earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in athletic administration from Ohio University. At Ohio Wesleyan, he earned seven varsity letters in soccer and baseball. Throughout his tenure on the Salisbury faculty, he was appointed as dean of students, director of residential leadership, assistant director of admissions, and assistant director of athletics. Jones also served as head coach of the varsity soccer, squash, and baseball programs, while also coaching various levels of hockey.
