The Fall Sailing team placed fourth in the Atlantic Coast Championships.
Ben Greenfield teaches physics and math at St. George’s where he aims to inspire his students with hands-on experience through experimentation. His teachings stress the importance of approaching the material through its real-world application. Prior to his work at St. George’s, Greenfield completed his student teaching at Boston Latin School and taught at Rocky Hill School. In addition, he works with the fitness and sailing programs at St. George’s. Aside from his teaching, he’s an accomplished competitive sailor at the international level and an avid skier. Greenfield received his bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a concentration in physics from Boston University.
Roy Williams has been at St. George’s since 1990 and holds the C.P. Beauchamp Jefferys Teaching Chair. Educated in the United Kingdom, he has a civil engineering degree from the University of Manchester and a postgraduate certificate in education from Crewe and Alsager College. He teaches math and is the head coach for the varsity sailing program in the spring. Williams has served as a vice president of High School Sailing.
