Boys’ Varsity Cross Country Coach Information
Warren Williams has been teaching and coaching at St. George’s since 1991. He currently teaches all levels of mathematics and is the head coach of the varsity boys’ cross-country team. During his tenure at SG, Williams also taught computer science and he coached varsity track & field and varsity swimming. He’s spent 40 summers working at Camp Laurel in Maine, is a lifelong runner, and enjoys competing in road races and triathlons. Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the State University of New York - Cortland and master’s degree from Johnson & Wales University.
Assistant CoachChad Ploskina teaches English, coaches cross country, and serves as a dorm parent in Diman. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s in secondary education from Duquesne University, Ploskina acquired experience teaching at a public high school in Western Pennsylvania, a residential program for at-risk youth in northern Virginia, and a community college in Massachusetts.
