Assistant CoachKelly Richards has been at St. George’s since 1997. She is currently the director of college counseling, and has held several positions during her time at St. George’s including assistant dean of students, head varsity field hockey coach and head varsity lacrosse coach. Kelly holds a B.A. in English and in government from the College of William and Mary, and an Ed.M. from Harvard University. Kelly has chaired the Advanced Secondary School College Counseling Summer Institute for two years at Wheaton College and at Yale University, has served as the chairperson for the Rising Leaders Colloquium at UMaine Farmington, and has served as an assembly delegate to the National Association for College Admission Counseling. In 2011, Kelly earned Professional of the Year from the New England Association for College Admission Counseling. Kelly teaches in the English department. Kelly resides in Potter House with her husband Chris, their son, Matthew ’20, and their daughters, Nicole and JJ.
