Four first period goals from the Red Wings belied what was an otherwise evenly played opening stanza and the Dragons were unable to rebound en route to a confounding 0-7 loss to Rivers. The Red Wings’ offensive efficiency proved overwhelming all evening and while SG was effective in the offensive and neutral zones, the defensive zone lapses were too insurmountable to survive against such a strong opponent. SG looks to tighten up defensively and to get back in the win column as they travel to Brooks on Saturday afternoon.
