Loss 6-9
Our mid-week tilt with Thayer was expected to be competitive in singles and doubles play. Both of our teams fared well against the same opponents throughout the season.

Alex Thill jumped out to a quick 6-1 first set win at #1 singles before her opponent could slow her down and take the second set. Lana Gaige made quick work of her match with a multi set win of 6-0, 6-1. Lilli Wytrzes and Bridgit Jones playing at #4 and #5 respectively managed to split their sets and round out singles play with the Dragons trailing 5-7 in points.

With our backs against the wall, we would have had to win all three doubles matches to win the overall match. Unfortunately, we would only pick up only one point at #1 doubles where Alex Thill and Mary Leys cruised to an 8-1 pro-set win. Thayer would take the overall match with a score of 6-9.

Our final match of the season is against a strong Middlesex squad on Saturday. With graduation being one of the many campus events happening this coming weekend, I hope to keep us focused over the next few days in an effort to give the Zebras a competitive match and possibly steal a win.
