Resources for Alumni

For Survivors

On Jan. 20, 2016, St. George’s Board of Trustees and SGS for Healing, a group of alumni who suffered sexual abuse while students at St. George’s, jointly engaged Martin Murphy, a partner in the law firm Foley Hoag, to conduct a broad independent investigation into sexual misconduct at St. George’s.

Following the investigation, St. George’s School and SGS for Healing agreed on a comprehensive and independent program for mental health assistance in cooperation with Day One of Rhode Island. An independent third-party administrator handles the processing of payments to providers and the names of alumni receiving mental health assistance are not be revealed to the school. Contact Courtney Miner at Day One at (401) 421-4100 ext. 146.

Local Health & Wellness Options

We encourage all Dragons to visit us back on the Hilltop as often as possible — and to stay healthy and recharge when you're here on beautiful Aquidneck Island. Through our alumni network we have compiled this list of some of the many health and wellness professionals who are located nearby. All welcome inquiries from St. George’s alumni. Please feel free to reach out to arrange your own appointments during your stay in Newport.
