Application Process

Our team is here to guide you and your family through the application process.

Here's a breakdown of the application process:

Step 1:
Student Inquiry Form & Create Veracross Account

Submit the student inquiry form so we can better prepare for your visit. Once submitted you will be emailed instructions to create your Veracross account, and will have access to the SG Admission Portal.

Step 2:
Interview & Tour

To accommodate your schedule, interviews will be offered in person and on Zoom. A campus visit includes a group tour, an interview with an admission associate and concludes with a parent/guardian wrap-up. Similarly, a Zoom interview will consist of an interview with an admission associate and a parent/guardian conversation. Log in to the SG Admission Portal to schedule an interview.

Step 3:
Testing (Test-Preferred)

We believe in a holistic evaluation of every candidate, seeking to understand the full scope of your talents, character, and academic potential. 

While testing is not an absolute requirement, standardized testing is preferred as part of the application process. If you have taken or plan to take the SSAT, ISEE, PSAT, SAT, or ACT, we encourage you to submit your scores. We will also accept your most recent state standardized testing, often completed in public schools. 

We do not admit or deny students based solely on testing, and therefore your scores will be reviewed within a larger context. Your test score will help neutralize the variety of school grading practices we see in the admission process, and will help us recommend appropriate courses for enrolled students.

Step 4:
Complete and Submit the Application by Jan. 15

Step 5:
Decisions Announced

Students receive admission decisions on the morning of March 10 in the SG Admission Portal.

Step 6:
Revisit & Enroll

  • Accepted students have the opportunity to revisit St. George’s in early April.
  • To secure your spot, we must receive the signed contract and deposit by April 10.
