A St. George’s education is a significant investment in a student’s growth from adolescence to young adulthood. Our goal is to help make this education available to all those with the credentials and the desire to take advantage of the opportunity to attend.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid at St. George's is awarded in the form of a grant to meet our families demonstrated need. Thirty-two percent of our students receive affordability grants, and we will continue to bridge the gap for as many families as possible. This year we distributed $6.3 million in need-based grants to 122 students. The average boarding grant was $58,000.

St. George’s partners with Clarity to determine a family’s level of financial need. We are committed to socioeconomic diversity and take a thoughtful, attentive approach to each family’s financial circumstances. St. George's will offer a space only to those students we can financially assist. If we are unable to offer financial assistance to an admissible student, that student will be placed on the wait list until funds and a space become available.

Laptop Computer Program ($2,200)
St. George’s is committed to the use of technology as an important educational tool. We require all students to participate in our laptop program which includes the single purchase of a school-issued MacBook Pro with our pre-installed software. Our hardware and software standard is fully supported by our Technology Department's Laptop Shop, with AppleCare+ for Schools. Our complimentary laptop loaner program guarantees students an identical laptop within minutes of arrival to our Laptop Shop, assuring minimal class time is lost in the event of a technical challenge. All warranty claims are managed and processed by the St. George's Technology Department, on behalf of our families. Insurance is billed annually (+$150) and covers fire/theft.

Technology Fee ($260)
An annual fee is assessed to all students. This assists in funding the enhancement and support of the school’s computer network—including upgrades to wireless connectivity, online billing and payments, the website and online course-management system.

International Student Fee ($1,000)
To assist in funding the additional support required to manage travel visa, a $1,000 fee is charged to all students requiring a Form I-20 in order to attend school in the United States.

St. George’s offers three payment options for the 2025-26 school year. For families who want to pay on an installment basis, St. George’s offers access to a monthly payment plan.

All tuition payments can be made through the Family Veracross Portal via ACH or credit card (standard processing fees apply.) Payment may also be made by check, or by wire transfer, more information is in the FAQ area below.

What is the financial aid process for returning families?

Our first priority each year is to assist the returning families that are currently receiving financial assistance from St. George’s. We then consider returning families whose financial situation has shifted and now qualify for need-based aid. The only families that will be considered at this stage are those that demonstrate a significant change in circumstances from the first time they applied. After finalizing our returning students, we make financial aid offers to newly admitted families.
