Geronimo
Through excursions that range from one to six weeks, students discover the joys and challenges of life aboard our 70-foot cutter.
A School at Sea
The Geronimo Program is multidimensional — combining a strong curricular component and cultural immersion with the development of skills in sailing, leadership and teamwork.
Students who enroll in the Geronimo program spend one leg of a tour voyage that will take the boat along the eastern coast of the U.S., from Rhode Island to the Bahamas and back. From 2020-2022, Geronimo will complete another exciting Transatlantic voyage.
See what the crew has been up to, and discover where the voyage will take them next. Track the progress of Geronimo.
Geronimo is a 70-foot cutter designed by Ted Hood specifically for St. George's School. It was built in 1998 by New England Boat Works in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
