The main thing I was able to take away from this is — the best way to make good progress is to understand history for its full truth, and apply that to the decisions we make individually and as a nation to have a better future.

Program Overview

By exploring key sites and discussing with community members, students will analyze how individuals exercised their rights to advocate for justice and equality. The experience connects these historical actions to contemporary civic challenges, inspiring students to recognize their own potential for civic action. Ultimately, this journey aims to empower students to become informed, engaged, and responsible citizens aligned with the school's core values of compassion, honor, and service.
