Library & Archives

Library

Our LEED Gold-certified Nathaniel P. Hill Memorial Library was renovated in 2011 and is a centerpiece in students’ academic lives. The library houses 30,000 volumes, 1,500 reference titles and an audiovisual collection. We subscribe to numerous electronic databases including JSTOR, ProQuest Research Library and historical newspaper archives, as well as print newspapers and magazines. And as a member of the Ocean State Libraries consortium and Online Computer Library Center, the library provides SG community members with access to the collections of university and public libraries nationwide.

St. George’s Archives

Capturing memories from as far back as our founding in 1896, the archives house a vibrant collection of documents, photographs and other artifacts defining our rich history.
