Excellent schools like St. George's have strong Annual Funds, and at St. George's the Annual Fund is the school's number one fund-raising priority. It supports everything that happens at St. George's—in the classroom, on the athletic fields, in the dormitory, on stage, and in the Chapel. Annual Fund gifts may be directed to athletics, financial aid, or faculty salaries.  Gifts also may be unrestricted, allowing the school to use the funds where they are needed most at any given time. Annual Fund gifts support day-to-day operations and are not used to construct buildings.

The 2011-12 goal is $2.25 million—nearly 10% of the operating budget. Alumni/ae, parents, and friends of St. George's have generously supported the school for 115 years, helping St. George's to become one of the finest independent schools in the country.
