 | Applying to SG Admissions Process | Step 1: Send for a catalogue and an application on line, or phone the St. George’s Admission Office at (401) 842 6600.
Step 2: In the summer, fall and early winter: schedule a personal interview.
Step 3: Register for the SSAT, the ISEE or the TOEFL. Tests are administered in the fall and winter of each year.
- SSAT (Secondary School Admission test). Most 9th through 11th grade candidates submit SSAT scores.
- ISEE (Educational Records Bureau Independent School Entrance Examination). Candidates may submit ISEE scores.
- Candidates taking the PSAT or SAT between September and January may submit either of those scores.
- International Students may submit the Test of English as a Foreign Language(TOEFL) in addition to the SSAT or ISEE.
Step 4: Complete and return the final application forms. The final application includes:
A. Candidate Statement and Parent Statement
B. School Report and Transcript
C. Current English Teacher Recommendation
D. Current Math Teacher Recommendation
E. Personal Recommendation
