Snapshots of St. George's
Our weeklong summer basketball camp offers a great opportunity for students entering grades 1-8 to learn a variety of both game and life skills in a fun environment. The camp welcomes students of all skill levels — from novice to experienced — and will meet Aug. 7-11 (Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.) The cost is $250 per participant.
Campers will be grouped by age and experience, and drills will be tailored to the ability of each group. The emphasis will be on building fundamentals, such as ball handling, footwork, defense and shooting, as well and good sportsmanship, work ethic, positive communication and positive attitude.

The camp also offers the opportunity to work with our talented and experienced head coaches. Camp directors Dwayne Pina and Molly Dullea are the head coaches for the Dragons boys’ and girls’ varsity teams, respectively. Formerly the point guard for the Boston College Eagles, Coach Pina earned Team Defensive MVP for the Eagles in 1998 as well as Top Playmaker in 1999. He began his coaching career in 2004 at Rhode Island College then went on to coach at the Division I level at both Bryant University and Brown University before arriving at St. George’s.
Coach Dullea has served as the head girls’ basketball coach at St. George’s for the past three seasons and has coached in the NEPSAC for six years, coming from Top Class A Worcester Academy. Prior to coaching high school basketball, Coach Dullea spent three years as a top assistant at both Wesleyan University and the University of Chicago, where she helped develop three All-American players and made two NCAA appearances. Additionally, Coach Dullea has served as the director of multiple organizations that focus on player development, including Adidas Southern Hoops, BasketBull, and her own company, Northeast Elite Basketball.
