Audrey Lamou is a French teacher at St. George's, most recently teaching French I and IV. Lamou’s teaching philosophy stems from the communicative approach, combining high energy and an atmosphere where each student steps out of their comfort zone and into the exciting territory of experiencing a language. She has taught French in France, Ireland, Indonesia, Morocco and Switzerland, where she led teacher-training programs and managed a French cultural and language center. She specializes in information and communication technologies applied to teaching. A native speaker of French from Bordeaux, Lamou holds a master’s degree in sociolinguistics and education from the University of Aix Marseille (France), a master’s degree in French teaching from the University of Montpellier (France) and a master’s degree in English literature and civilization from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
