Emma Bartnick is a teaching fellow in the mathematics department. Bartnick teaches mathematics and computer science and has helped to develop the Java programming curriculum. Bartnick not only teaches her students mathematical and programming skills, but also the practical applications for those skills. As a dorm parent and coach in the afternoons, she encourages students to recognize how their actions outside of the classroom can advance their growth and learning at St. George’s. Throughout high school and college, she was an internationally competitive equestrian. Bartnick holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and mathematical sciences from Barnard College.
