Xander Jones joined the St. George’s community in the fall of 2016 after eight years at Salisbury School in Connecticut. Prior to Salisbury, he earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in athletic administration from Ohio University. At various times throughout his tenure on the Salisbury faculty, he was appointed as dean of students, director of residential leadership, assistant director of admissions and assistant director of athletics. Additionally, Jones served as head coach of the varsity soccer, squash, and baseball programs, while also coaching various levels of hockey. Jones teaches in the history department, serves as a dormitory head, works in the Dean of Students Office and serves as an assistant coach of the boys’ varsity soccer team.
