Sarah Ploskina serves as the Chair of the Theater, Speech and Dance Department. She teaches a variety of theater courses, ranging from Acting and Improvisation to Playwrighting and Dramatic Literature. She directs the winter musical and play each school year, and has introduced the student-devised performance project to the St. George’s curriculum. Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in English from Manhattanville College, where she also played on the women’s soccer team. She holds her master's in Theater Education from Emerson College, where she focused on Theater for Social Change. Before joining the faculty of St. George’s, in addition to teaching, Sarah worked in regional and off-Broadway theater companies in Washington, D.C. and New York City.
