Jeff Nadeau has been St. George’s head athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coordinator since 2012. Nadeau specializes in injury evaluation, rehabilitation and management. He has spearheaded and developed alongside the Health Center an improved concussion protocol, which involves both return-to-play and return-to-learn guidelines. As the strength and conditioning coordinator, he works closely with the in-season teams to improve overall fitness, strength and flexibility but also assists students in developing sport-specific workouts in their offseason. Nadeau holds a master’s degree in exercise science from the University of Memphis and a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Plymouth State College. He is the Rhode Island Athletic Training Association president and a member of NEPSAC Sports Medicine Advisory Council executive board.
