Amy Dorrien Traisci
Amy Dorrien Traisci teaches Spanish in the modern language department and holds the Paul T. Christie Teaching Chair. She also serves as an advisor, the head of a girls’ dormitory and supervises the student-designed, faculty-sponsored activity program in the afternoons. Dorrien Traisci has taught a variety of levels, including levels two, three, five, and six at the nonhonors, honors and advanced levels. Having lived and studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and Buenos Aires, Argentina, she specializes in contemporary Hispanic literature and culture. Dorrien Traisci holds both a bachelor’s degree in international studies and a master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College.
