Wendy S. Drysdale is the assistant director of music and special chapel programs at St. George’s. She was appointed to the St. George’s faculty in 1986 as head athletic trainer. Drysdale helps coordinate chapel services with students, musicians and the school chaplain. A gifted musician, Drysdale directs the school’s handbell choir and assists with the St. George’s choral and instrumental ensembles. Drysdale earned her undergraduate degree in athletic training from Wilmington College, earning NATA national certification in 1986. She served as assistant athletic director for 16 years, and as a dormitory parent for 17 years. In 2016, she became the first athletic trainer in school history to be inducted into the St. George’s School Sports Hall of Fame.
